With well-distributed sourcing, plenty of corroboration on his considering the question, and a specific event on which AP is inherently the factual authority (they're the ones who'd know what he said to them), the multi-sourcing on this works for me.
The Portland Press Herald refused to show me more than the first paragraph and change the article, saying I'd exceeded my quota of ten free articles per month (I'm confident this is the first time I've accesse their site this month, or possibly ever). Paywall. However, it's syndicated from AP, so I was pretty easily able to find elsewhere what is pretty obviously the same article for practical purposes:
The reviewed revision should automatically have been edited by removing {{Review}} and adding {{Publish}} at the bottom, and the edit sighted; if this did not happen, it may be done manually by a reviewer.
