Unsourced claims[edit]

Facts in an article have to be sourced. If you insert allegations into an interview transcript, such as "[it was Sonia Healy]", you have to provide documentation; if you're not going to document such things, you oughtn't have put them in something submitted for publication. --Pi zero (talk) 16:01, 1 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • There was the problem, noted above, with the unsourced note about Sonia Healy — I did poke around, but the information was not readily forthcoming. Had more luck with the note about ten months, which was "obvious" (with some though).

Circumstances of the interview[edit]

I was introduced to Tom Kyle in July 2013, shortly after he was appointed head coach of the Gliders, by Tony Naar of the Australian Paralympic Committee. Tom invited me to attend the July 2013 camp in Canberra referred to in the interview, where I conducted some interviews. I subsequently contacted him via email, and he kindly arranged to provide an interview in Toronto, where I would be covering the 2014 Women's World Wheelchair Basketball Championship. The interview was conducted in the dining room of the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in downtown Toronto, where the teams were staying, shortly after Australia played its final game of the tournament.
