Newsworthy?
[edit]I don't think this is particularly newsworthy for an international news source. For Yorkshire, sure. For England, maybe. For the Commonwealth, probably not. People die in house fires probably several times a day. Here's an example from my area this week:
- http://www.mydailyrecord.com/ee/dunndailyrecord/index.php?pSetup=dunndailyrecord&curDate=20100125&pageToLoad=showFreeArticle.php&type=art&index=02 -- Ke4roh (talk) 02:57, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, there's nothing in our policies that prohibits local news. If it's significant enough to be reported on in a local newspaper, it's probably newsworthy enough for us to publish. We try to be both local and international. Tempodivalse [talk] 03:08, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
