flagging it for tweaks[edit]

{{flag}} Infobox makes it difficult and annoying to read on mobile devices. So, should we remove infoboxes from mobile site (by adding the "desktop-only" class, it can be accomplished.)

Add fr:Modèle:Même sujet to this template.

@Acagastya: I'll look into adding the desktop-only class. Although I also added the interwiki, it occurs to me you could have done that — interwikis and categories for the template go on the /doc page, in an includeonly block. --Pi zero (talk) 12:58, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I think Infobox template is more complicated than any other template I have encountered -- and haven't figured out why it is make like this, or even how to make things work. I didn't know how to add iwl until now.

@Acagastya: Adding interwikis to the /doc file is standard for templates that use the {{documentation}} template; it's part of the concept, to allow templates to be recategorized (as well as changing their visible documentation) without incurring server load for recomputing all the pages that transclude the template. But yes, infobox is admittedly a pretty complicated template. I had to study the "Internals" sections of the documentation pages myself, to remind myself of how it works. And the desktop-only thing belongs... I think... in {{InfosectionStart}}, to which I have added it. Which is not even specific to infoboxen that use {{infobox}}; it should do the trick for almost all of the thousand-or-so infoboxen on the project that don't use {{infobox}}. If what I did works, that is. --Pi zero (talk) 14:07, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Pi zero: this one is done, right?
