RE: Article
Hello Mikemoral,
I was wondering if you could provide me with some constructive criticism on my article. I am a student and I am on a steep learning curve. The aim of my assignment is to get published.
I looked forward to your response,
Regards,
Odette.
Yo
You should really review Tornadoes damage hundreds of Missouri homes, force closure of airport ;). Happy Easter! —fetch·comms 17:55, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't think I'll be able to review soon. I should be able to probably after midnight UTC. If it hasn't been reviewed by then I'll go ahead and do so. Thanks for the review, btw. :) Happy Easter to you too! —Mikemoral♪♫ 17:58, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
- It's been done by gopher65, so don't worry about it now. Cheers, —fetch·comms 22:38, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but WN:DR requests should remain open for 7 days where possible, and not after four. (unless you want to write WN:SNOW) — μchip08 10:50, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
- You're correct. "Non-articles also appear for seven days."
- But.
- I recommend doing about it what we did when I closed a discussion after a little over one week that should have run for two: resolve to do better next time. Although it would have been better to leave the DR open for the full week, it's not worth undoing to make the point. --Pi zero (talk) 11:45, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
- Shoot, I thought three days (with three being bold and the first number I saw). I apologize, but it seems I can't read instructions. —Mikemoral♪♫ 03:58, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
Note
Hey Mikemoral, just dropping you a note saying I've transferred full founder access to your account on the two Wikinews-related IRC channels I own, #wikinews-workshop and ##wikinews. You're free to do with them whatever you see necessary; frankly, you're the only person here I still have full trust and faith in.
Wikinews has lately been bringing me only stress and frustration, so I think it's time to move on to greener pastures. There's no point in participating if you get no fun out of it. Hope to see you around at en.wikt and simple.wikt, i'm still going to edit from time to time over there. Best of wishes. Tempodivalse [talk] 17:28, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
