Where to get help
Now you have a basic overview of how to contribute to Wikinews. But there is a lot more you'll learn along the way as you get started. You can find a variety of written help materials and additional videos in the Resources tab of this training.
If you need help, here are some places you can go:
- Static help
- Wikinews:Style guide is the main help page that will guide you in the right direction. The help page may be reached at any time by clicking Style guide displayed under the ► Wikinews tab on the left side of all pages.
- Wikinews:Content guide describes Wikinews's content policies.
- Wikinews:Policies and guidelines is a list of the most important policies on Wikinews.
- Interactive help
- The Wikinews:Water_cooler/assistance, where you can ask questions about how to use and edit Wikinews
- The wikinews channel for live chat help from other Wikinewsies
For help with your course specifically, try:
- The Wikinews:Water cooler/assistance, a place for posting issues, problems and requests for assistance related to Wikinews
- Your Regional Ambassador may be able to assist if they have any experience with Wikinews
