original story
hi, it is my first time here and i posted an original story.it is so difficult to connect with my reviewers and understand what kind of sources are they looking for and why they deleted the sources that i posted that i would like to take my story and find another venue for it. could i do that? thank you very much. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Wmjournalist (talk • contribs)
- You're welcome to take the story and seek an alternate venue for it. The problem with the sources you provided is they were nothing to do with what you submitted as an article. How were two adverts, with no mention of what you'd written, and a three-month old link to another story with nothing to do with your submission, sources?
- A source is usually a news article, covering the same story as your article is about, from which you have drawn some of your information. You provided none of those.
- Some former contributors to Wikinews founded http://theopenglobe.org partly on the basis that our review criterion are too-strict, but I doubt that your article is formatted closely enough to a news story even for them. --Brian McNeil / talk 20:42, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
