Reporting on Wikimedia projects in various languages
This is an inquiry on whether EnWN policies allow for reporting of something like 2019 Languages of Russia Wikipedia Leaders? If so, we would be interested in possible cooperation in the framework of Multilingualism project that Russian Wikinews currently hosts for a number of smaller communities. --Frhdkazan (talk) 16:55, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Frhdkazan: Not sure what you're asking about re the 2019 Languages of Russia Wikipedia Leaders article. I note that, as an article, it looks like in-house Wikimedia newsletter sort of stuff, which in modern times en.wn doesn't publish (see WN:Relevance#The Wikimedia exception).
The multilingualism project sounds hard to reconcile with our review process and time constraints. --Pi zero (talk) 17:09, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Pi zero:, thank you for the comments. My personal participation in Russian Multilingual Wikinews is around Wikimedia Languages of Russia community matters, so the Wikimedia exception seems a stopper here. Small Wiki Development & ongoing ecosystem support matters take most of my online volunteering time, so I won't be able to fit into the time constraints and enWP review process, but I would share it with others.
