Tips[edit]

User:Jcart1534 is making great strides in archiving old articles. Late at night, this user trudges through news-stories and protects them and caringly preserves them for posterity. The extent of these efforts can be viewed here. It is truly quite amazing. --SVTCobra 02:42, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Wikinews article hits front page of Digg.com while undergoing Deletion request[edit]

In discussion at Wikinews:Water cooler/miscellaneous, it is believed that this is only the third time that an article from Wikinews has hit the front page of Digg.com, and the first time ever that an article from Wikinews has hit the front page of Digg.com, while also undergoing a Deletion request discussion.
