What on earth

Sorry, I typed it up at 4 in the morning. It's so users can sign up to watch a given news site for developments, that way we don't have confusion as to who is watching where and where more people need to watch. -- NGerda 17:35, July 11, 2005 (UTC)

Encouraging people to follow the proposed policy

Does anyone have any suggestions how to encourage people to follow this policy? Today, for example (21 July) when the second wave of bombs hit London, within 30 minutes of the first reports about 3 stories appeared on wn, each the same story, just written slightly differently; so we end up with one main story being edited and lots of other articles with just an opening paragraph. I'd actually forgotten about this, because I didn't think it was likely to happen again for a while. Now we have two similar incidents in two days... Question

If one is at the scene and wants to go online to edit Wikinews, should one go to the nearest Kinko's or Internet cafe? why or why not? just curious. Rickyrab 02:01, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
