Bandit King[edit]

When we say billions and millions, we do of course mean in foreign (internationally well-known) currency. The Chinese yuan is so low in value that these figures may not be accurate for the yuan... And, given that we're also talking about potentially greatly changed exchange rates, that makes conversion tricky to check. Labouring the point of USD/GBP in a brief seems a bit heavy. One possibility that crossed my mind would be to state 'in Western money', since the main Western currencies (USD, GBP, euro) are all internationally recognised and have at least vaguely similar values. Similar enough, at least, that we can be confident that billions/millions will hold true. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 11:50, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't get it.I wonder how many other non-Australians also didn't get it. I was able to edit under primitive conditions. Crtew

I didn't get it either, which is why I gave it a clean bill of health when factchecking. I was getting worried about having to beg a favour from a Wikimedian with a mic somewhere. :/ Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 21:45, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
