I've asked you a question at your rfa. --A101 - (talk) 16:04, 30 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ukranian manufacturer preparing to sell Adolf Hitler dolls

Go ahead. But imagine if all the sources were deleted from their respective hosts and we removed them one-by-one. Pretty soon it would look like we concocted the story on our own without any sources. I feel pretty strongly that the link should remain. Just check our archives for instance ... almost all the sources are now dead links because the providers don't feel like keeping it all online like we do. Cheers, --SVTCobra 01:39, 6 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I don't think so. The BBC put it up there ... and they had it there for days. We shouldn't apologize for them and how they mislead us. Instead we should leave it there because they tried to erase history. They, the BBC, should have left a message that they took it down because it was a hoax ... not us, Wikinews. --SVTCobra 01:47, 6 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well, you can add that as a note to the link, if you like. But don't remove the link. --SVTCobra 01:54, 6 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

RfA and AR

[edit]

Hi,

I noticed you removed your RfA and AR from various templates. I don't think the AR should be removed yet as I am the only person to vote. Your RfA should be closed but I would wait until someone makes the change.

I am no longer seeking Accreditation, and their is no point leaving the Rfa on the templates as voting is closed, the election just hasn't been certified so to speak...lol.--Ryan524 - (talk) 22:05, 7 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

New to Wikinews.

[edit]

Thanks for the message, I am (as you know new to wikinews) but I have been on Wikipedia before so I sort of understand hoe this works. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mia-jmw (talkcontribs) 00:15, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your archiving requests at Wikinews:Admin action alerts

[edit]

We now have a dynamic automatically generated list of stuff to archive at WN:ARCHIVE, so the requests at WN:AAA - was there a particular reason you were listing stuff at WN:AAA ? Cirt - (talk) 18:17, 9 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image policy has changed quite a bit since you were last active. You can see Wikinews:Image use policy/New wikimedia policy action plan/FAQ. It is very long so I will abbreviate for the image that you uploaded for this article: You need to write a non-free use rationale (aka use rationale or fair use rationale), to accompany such an image. Personally, I like to use this template {{Non-free use rationale}} to make sure I have all bases covered. If you don't, someone will surely tag it for deletion or at least put it in Category:Non-free images lacking fair use rationales. Cheers, --SVTCobra 23:25, 12 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oh I know it does, I just never got to adding it when I was trying to get the article together, but its got it now.--Ryan524 (talk) 03:47, 13 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
