Having dual citizenship, French and Portuguese, Guerreiro has scored two goals for Portugal in his seven international games. Last season, he played 34 Ligue 1 matches for Lorient. Guerreiro had a medical checkup in Paris on Wednesday, with clearance from the Portuguese Football Federation. Sporting Director Michael Zorc said, "Raphaël Guerreiro is a technically experienced player who is equally comfortable in several positions." Ducksch joined Dortmund fourteen years ago, when he was 8. Since then, he has played six games with the first team. This season, BVB has signed teen-aged players Emre Mor and Ousmane Dembélé.
