The couple was abducted by Haqqani Network in 2012 when they were on a tour to Afghanistan. The woman was pregnant for 7 months at the time of abduction. During her abduction, she gave birth to three children, one girl and two boys. In Dec 2016, a video was released by the militants in which the couple pledged the forces to set them free. A day ago, Pakistani military led an operation against the kidnappers on joint intelligence reports from USA.--Asadwarraich (talk) 18:19, 13 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
