  • Thanks to the tip above (for which, thanks), I did find the stats on attempted passes; three out of four numbers disagreed with the bit I'd removed here, though, and I was feeling uncomfortable so let them stay removed. (I'm actually uncomfortable with were these sorts of purported numbers come from anyway; any number that big, I wonder where it comes from — like the supposed attendance at the game.)
  • I found myself with discrepancies on some of the stats at the bottom, and that brings up a major issue with the design of templates/markup for use in articles. I've been trying to figure out how to put this — once I've figured out how, it belongs on the water cooler, I guess — we need to avoid complicated markup in articles. Any template used should be lucid: very simple interface, no colors or esoteric numbers, just a few parameters, and it should be immediately, vividly clear exactly what it means. So that it presents no burden to a reviewer. Review shouldn't require wrestling with difficult markup. (There's also the very sticky issue of when tables are appropriate at all, but that's a separate issue.)

The reviewed revision should automatically have been edited by removing {{Review}} and adding {{Publish}} at the bottom, and the edit sighted; if this did not happen, it may be done manually by a reviewer.

@Auric: DISPLAYTITLE was used to italicise El Clásico. So instead of removing it, <i> can be used.

If the wiki software is broken so it doesn't recognize the correct wiki markup for italics, one wouldn't think it would recognize the html for italics either. Besides my not wanting to touch DISPLAYTITLE on old articles (which is because I don't trust the software to behave correctly — with some justification, apparently) --Pi zero (talk) 10:54, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Not done; DISPLAYTITLE is not the same and even if it was, removing it will cause similar damage to renaming a published article. I seem to recall it used to work in this manner; if I'm correct in that recollection we can thank the WMF for breaking it without telling anyone.
