Hotel's high season

[edit]

Cannot find a reference to the hotel's high season in any of the citations, just that it was used by westerners, and it had no vacancies - it was full. Left a note on Superm401 talk page SriMesh | talk 04:11, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

There was no source that explicitly used the words "high season". It was my phrasing based on the NYT saying "hotel’s registry was swollen". However, perhaps I extrapolated too far. Superm401 | Talk 02:59, 13 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

United States facility

[edit]

I don't understand why the article was changed to say the U.S. was only considering the neighborhood. I put that part in because the NYT explicitly said, "U.S. Planned to Buy Bombed Peshawar Hotel" and quoted McClatchy Newspapers, "A senior State Department official confirmed that the U.S. plan for the consulate in Peshawar involves the purchase of the luxury Pearl Continental hotel"

In other words, they were reported interested in buying the hotel, exactly as I wrote. Superm401 | Talk 03:02, 13 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
