Talk:Clashes leave 21 dead in Thai capital
Add topicTime zones
[edit]Because of Time zones there is a slight problem with putting sources in chronolgical order. I was writing this at about midnight and it was already the 11th in Thailand although it was still the 10th just about where I was (London UK), and late afternoon in Los Angeles, I'm pretty sure that the new LA Times source though dated the 10th is fresher than the bangkok Post one which is dated the 11th.KTo288 (talk) 10:15, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Hyphenated or not? 62.204.152.181 (talk) 03:43, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- If I'm not mistaken, it should be hyphenated under strict rules of English. Tempodivalse [talk] 03:46, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- I'm curious, do you have a cite for that?
- Oh, and people should - as I machiavellianly did - be encouraged to cut and rephrase from older articles. Probably a few good pics to get there too; like Thaksin with Rumsfeld. --Brian McNeil / talk 04:14, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- Mmm, can't actually recall where I'd learned that, but [1] and [2] would agree with me. I use formal English style for writing, but perhaps there are other variants as well. Tempodivalse [talk] 04:24, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- And the cure is, as usual, to make compliant with the style guide. :D --Brian McNeil / talk 04:31, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
