Two Canadians

None of the sources mention Canada at all afaics. I decided to treat Bieber's Canadianism as common knowledge (lucky I know that about him, but whatever), but not only did I not know The Weeknd was Canadian, I had trouble confirming it (as usual, en.wp provides a footnote that doesn't contain the information the footnote is attached to). Having expended extracurricular time and effort on The Weeknd's nationality, I realized the wording of the passage seems to hint those two were the only Canadians who won grammies for the first time, which is clearly way beyond the pale for me to go off-script to check — I'd have to check the nationality of every artist who won for the first time (or, at least, I'd have to check the other three of them listed in the source). So either I have to decide that claim really isn't implied, or I have to cut the passage altogether. Things in an article that require deep decisions like this by the reviewer are very expensive from a review point of view: a person can only make so many decisions in a day, and part of getting the most out of a reviewer is to avoid asking them to spend decision-capacity on stuff like that. If you say it in the article, make sure it's verifiable from what you've provided; really I shouldn't have gone off-script to check that The Weeknd is Canadian. --Pi zero (talk) 19:24, 16 February 2016 (UTC)

@Pi zero: The grammy.com source has a video, in which Ed says that they wrote the song on the couch. So maybe we can have it back.

Title

I would suggest renaming the article "Ed Sheeran wins Song of Year Grammy for 'Thinking Out Loud' " to separate the song from the rest of the title. For some reason the custom display title is no longer working. – Nascar1996 ^{(talk • cont)} 02:40, 11 June 2016 (UTC)

That is indeed not working on my userpage. What if we italicise the song name?

That's the issue. {{DISPLAYTITLE}} should be working, but for some reason it is not. We should attempt to fix it first, but if it does not work, we should use the same method used in other published articles. As far as I know, {{DISPLAYTITLE}} is the only way to italicize article titles on all Wikimedia projects. – Nascar1996 ^{(talk • cont)} 03:30, 11 June 2016 (UTC)

DISPLAYTITLE only works if the proposed title resolves to the actual title; the article was renamed during review and, frankly, I don't think I'd even noticed it had DISPLAYTITLE in it (DISPLAYTITLE isn't something we ordinarily use at Wikinews).
