In addition, repeating the full name ("Crown Prince Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani") repeatedly is unnecessary. Comments by reviewer: On the NPOV front, saying a country is "a major force in the dynamic political balances in the region" is sort of the nationalistic equivalent of advertising-style puffery - that's the sort of thing that actually needs to have a source - we should say that some important person X, like an academic or, say, a President or prime minister of an unconnected nation thinks that. But it seems likely that it was probably plagiarized from the Telegraph source. I didn't check the FT source as it requires registration, and the Al-Jazeera source is in Arabic. While non-English sources are allowed on Wikinews, they do make reviewing harder - so if you are going to use them, it's well worth specifying on the talk page exactly what facts you are sourcing to the non-English source, and providing translation. The image also needs a caption and an attribution using the {{Image}} template. Questions about the above? Ask. The Arabic-language source makes review more difficult (and reviewer labor is at a premium here; as a practical matter, it's an advantage to an article to make itself easy to review, and a disadvantage to make itself difficult to review). See the remarks in a previous review about non-English sources and how to make it easier for a reviewer to cope with them. The news event as presented here is the emir making a decision; but that's something that goes on in the emir's mind, not something one reports as a factual event. One reports that someone said something, or did something. What happened on Monday was presumably an announcement, of some sort, by somebody (presumably not an announcement by the emir, since he was going to make a statement this morning). This says the emir was going to make a statement this morning. Did it happen? Since we're pausing to address other concerns, this aspect of the story should be updated. Questions about the above?
