Secretary of state John Kerry confirmed in a US House hearing on military intervention in Syria, that the Syrian minister of defense had defected to Turkey. The hearing is being broadcast live on C-SPAN [1] and is usually available to be viewed in full once the hearing concludes. I tweeted about it here: [2] so when the video is available to be watched, you have a timeline area to get the confirmation from Kerry.
