Positioning of {{Haveyoursay}}
[edit]Can someone give me the gist of what this ("Haven’t we put all the visual clue information below HYS? Let it be football box or election") means as far as {{haveyoursay}} not being the last thing before sources? Where in the style guide is it? What if a box score or a table was in the middle of an article? Where does HYS go then? This seems illogical to me. --SVTCobra 02:30, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
- @SVTCobra: I believe what is being referred to there is that, in modern association football match articles by acagastya, a football box has often been put below hys instead of above. Iirc, in the first case where we did that, the football box was appearing strictly below the bottom of the infobox, and the article itself was short enough that there was a bunch of whitespace below the text and before the football box, so that it seemed nobody was likely to even notice hys if it was below the football box rather than above. That's an extreme case, but presumably the principle may apply in varying degrees to different situations. So far I've not formed a very strong opinion either way on this article; clearly I'm willing to live with either, as I've sighted edits putting hys in both places. --Pi zero (talk) 02:53, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
- Well, I don't feel extremely strongly about it, but it seems that the guideline ought to be at the bottom unless it causes a whitespace problem. --SVTCobra 03:49, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
