Will submit the story for review once a transcript and/or judgment text is available online, I think, on Monday. Gryllida 12:49, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OR[edit]

Forwarded data to scoop that supports the following bits in the article:

  • The Court had no documentation of their reasoning beyond the verbal pronouncement on the day.
  • Anders Holmdahl had decided to take the case before the United Nations Human Rights Council.

Two more details:

  • The Court had no documentation of their reasoning beyond the verbal pronouncement on the day (from the Court itself yesterday);
  • There is no photo of a Judge available for the article for safety reasons (today).

Also forwarded to scoop. Gryllida 08:07, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Can some more background information be added to this article? I have no idea what it is about. 129.120.3.3 (talk) 21:29, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi. Thanks for your feedback. I added a note about how elections in Australia work at the article bottom. Is there some specific point that complicates understanding or affects readability? Gryllida 23:25, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think a link to an article on the case would be helpful. Was this person arrested for not voting; if so how did they find out they didn't vote? 129.120.3.3 (talk) 19:16, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • Yes, they had a fine for not voting, then chose to take it to court. The article has a link to the May 11 judgment which has details about it. It is a standard, I think also internationally, process. Gryllida 23:23, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
