Conversation with Tony Naar
[edit]- Americans do not have a paper handbook, unlike Australia, Canada and Brazil.
- US guide is only available online
- Said they were defensive about the Paralympic Committeee
- Denied that the rights were not sold. They bought the rights and onsold them to NBC
- Tony said this was what Australia used to do. Has not been done since Atlanta 1996. "The Americans are that far behind"

Review of revision 1601335 [Not ready]

Revision 1601335 of this article has been reviewed by Brian McNeil (talk · contribs) and found not ready at 10:48, 28 August 2012 (UTC).
Comments by reviewer: I've read the scanned notes, and whilst everything else is clear (and I'd suggest mentioning Seb Coe being there, as well as 60-odd journalists) I cant work out what NBC's coverage is supposed to be. One four-hour thing, or ... ? Questions about the above? Ask. If possible, please address the above issues then resubmit the article for another review (by replacing {{tasks}} in the article with {{review}}). This talk page will be updated with subsequent reviews. |

- According to the USA Paralympic person I spoke to, it is four one-hour wrap ups of the Paralympics run over the course of the Paralympics, where four hours TOTAL is the whole of the coverage by NBC. I spoke to another USA Paralympics person on the bus this morning and confirmed this fact. (I keep talking about this to USA people because it is so absolute shit.) --User:LauraHale —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 212.183.140.8 (talk • contribs) 11:36, 28 August 2012
- This was the only detail I couldn't confirm from the notes. As I say, I'd recommend including this was with 60-odd journalists and Lord Coe; that makes the 'dressing down' look worse ;) --Brian McNeil / talk 13:01, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
