Emergency to rename

[edit]

Can anyone rename this to "Indian and Spanish leaders inaugurate India's first private military aircraft facility" ? CSM.in (talk) 10:55, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

I unfortunately don't have time to fully review or copy edit of this article today. I have taken a cursory look at it and it is a great start.

There are some points that need clarification. For example, the lede (lead) or first paragraph seems to say the name of the plant is "Tata-Airbus C-295."

The third and fourth paragraphs also need to be edited for clarification. The third paragraph indicates there are already 56 planes physically located at the plant. In the fourth paragraph, it seems that the 2021 deal is a separate or additional deal but I believe it was the only deal.

The article was largely compliant with our style guide already. Nicely done on that front. I also added several categories. —Michael.C.Wright (Talk/Published) 14:02, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi
Message unclear
  • what's wrong with this name of the plant?
  • what clarification in paragraph 3 and 4?
  • what's wrong with 56?
2021 deal - ok

@Gryllida and @Michael.C.Wright, I have fixed the small issue. There was some grammar mistakes on third/fourth para. CSM.in (talk) 05:10, 29 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you.
I couldn't find support in either of the listed sources that the new planes are meant "to replace the aging Hawker Siddeley HS 748 planes." If I missed it in one of the sources, my apologies. If it is in another source not listed, you will need to either list the source or remove the statement. You should also attribute the source in prose since it discusses motive or intention. For example, if the source were Reuters; 'Reuters reports that the new planes are meant to replace India's aging Hawker Siddeley HS 748 planes.'
Again, sorry I don't have time this week to fully review articles, but hopefully this will help another reviewer to evaluate this one quicker/easier. —Michael.C.Wright (Talk/Published) 13:04, 29 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Gryllida, DW source attributes that India's defense ministry signed an agreement with Airbus SE of INR21,000 crore (US$2.5 billion) for acquiring these 56 aircrafts back in 2021. CSM.in (talk) 03:45, 30 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
regarding on the replacement of aging....planes, I didn't get the proper source at this time. CSM.in (talk) 03:55, 30 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
