Some of the issues that need to be addressed are ordinal numbers such as "15th" and time conversion to UTC. Comments by reviewer: Sources must be in English as well, please. And: What is the deal with that tsunami of source articles? I mean: the article spans 9 sentences and there are enough source articles to choke a horse. It isn't "wrong" -- I just don't get it. Not trying to be jerk -- I'm just curious about the author's motivation. Questions about the above? Ask. If possible, please address the above issues then resubmit the article for another review (by replacing {{tasks}} in the article with {{review}}). Comments by reviewer: Newsworthiness is on the brink of stale. I recommend effort to get story oublished on same date as event. Current policies allow a delay of up to 7 days. I am happy to see previous review comments addressed. Further edits are welcome for 24 hours after publishing, and will be reviewed separately. Thanks to all contributors. 👍 😊 🙏 The reviewed revision should automatically have been edited by removing {{Review}} and adding {{Publish}} at the bottom, and the edit sighted; if this did not happen, it may be done manually by a reviewer. |

Headline incorrect
[edit]The headline is incorrectly punctuated and the phrase "Yuriko the princess Mikasa" is unique to our article.
A quick google search indicates a few different ways to refer to the princess:
- Princess Yuriko[1]
- Princess Yuriko Mikasa[2]
- Yuriko, Princess Mikasa[3]
The discrepancy could be due to translation.
If it is part of a title or how royalty is commonly addressed in Japan, commas are needed, as in "Japan's oldest princess, Yuriko, the Princess Mikasa, dies".
Headlines are also down-cased or downstyle capitalization, such as a sentence. Wikinews:Style_guide#Headlines
I can move it within 24 hours of publication, depending on what the author or others suggest. Michael.C.Wright (Talk/Published) 18:28, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- "a few different ways" does not mean this way is incorrect
- why/how down capital? i think names, word princess - need to have caps
- thank you 🙂 Gryllida (talk) 18:33, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- "a few different ways" does not mean this way is incorrect I'll rephrase it; What is the appropriate formal way to address or refer to a princess of the Imperial House of Japan?
- why/how down capital? Why? The only reason I can give is because that is what the style guide states. It gives no reason:
Use downstyle capitalisation — Downstyle capitalisation, also called sentence case, is the preferred style. Only the initial word and proper nouns are capitalized.
- How? In the case of our article here, the first instance of the word princess is not part a formal title or a proper noun. It is a common noun[4]; Japan's oldest princess. The word princess describes a type of person.
- That is in addition to the additional commas that are needed to make the headline a correct sentence. —Michael.C.Wright (Talk/Published) 21:33, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
