Some things I can see immediately:

  • Links within the article should use {{w|...}}, not [[w:...|...]].
  • Date format in the Sources section doesn't follow the style guide, WN:SG#Dates.
  • There should be, at minimum, a country category (and the continent category it belongs to) and a section category (in this case, that'd be Category:Economy and business.
  • There should be an infobox; likely, either {{Economy and business}} or {{France}}.
  • Places and people should be linked on first occurrence, Such as {{w|France|French}}.

Attribution problem

[edit]

I notice there are several passages here that need attribution. When you say "it was predicted/believed/assumed ...", this begs the question, predicted/believed/assumed by whom? Moreover, if the answer isn't very specific, there may be a problem with whether it can really be verified (even if a source says it, if the source appears to have been handwaving, one has to stop and think about whether the source is simply projecting its own expectations). --16:36, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
