3-20-18 Davidhaw: I don't know the proper format but can someone change the title from Kenyan conservancy announces euthanising last make northern white rhino; only two females of the subspecies remain to from Kenyan conservancy announces euthanising last male northern white rhino; only two females of the subspecies remain

3-02-2018 6:06 PM UTC I fixed the first post to keep the euthanizing the same but make still needs to be male

@Pi zero: Regarding this edit, I thought we avoided words like 'today' and 'yesterday' in favor of more absolute terms. Cheers, --SVTCobra 21:25, 21 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

@SVTCobra: The style guide calls for "today" and "yesterday", relative to the date of publication. However,
  • When writing an article, it's best to either just use a weekday, leaving it for a reviewer to put in today/yesterday if they review it in time and remember; or to use today/yesterday immediately followed by an html comment with the weekday, so it's clear to a reviewer what was meant (and that also helps with makelead after publication).
  • In the lead templates on the main page, avoid today/yesterday in favor of weekday names, as there the text no longer appears strictly under its date of publication.
