The source gave her current age. I thought it would be strange to give the age of the younger assemblywoman but not the elder. I also think it's strange that we say one's Latina and not that the other's black, but I also thought it would strange to say it. Darkfrog24 (talk) 21:26, 7 February 2019 (UTC)

I found a source from March 2012, about her run in that primary, that said she was 56 at the time, which is perfectly possible if her birthday is later in the year than that, but inconsistent with her being 64 in February 2019.

Note, however, that we didn't remark on the Assemblywoman being Latina; she brought it up herself. That's likely why the other would feel different: it would be us bringing it up. --Pi zero (talk) 21:34, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
