Released?

I don't understand the usage of "released" in the context of his failing a drug test. Was he actually imprisoned or otherwise detained? --SVTCobra 02:41, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

I would assume it means released from his contract with the WWE, a gentler way of saying he was fired. Taggart.BBS (talk) 04:30, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
