I don't like my headline and wanted to change it to

"UK Government directs propaganda at Muslim youth"

I have tried to change it but it seems that after it has been published I can'tdo that - pity. Fentonrobb 18:37, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

depends on how soon after publication u want to make the change. if u want to make a "really needed" change to an article less than 24 hours after its publishing, u certainly can consider it. the idea is that publishing an article shld also be a "consensus" decision, if someone published an article in a state that u think really needs changing, u do have the option of changing it within the 24/48 hour window. the time limits are rough "rules of thumb", though. things to consider are whether the article's been published so long that a correction needs to be issued, whether a change is really required or can the issue be addressed in a follow-up article and whether there is sufficient basis in policy and editors agreement for the change.  — Doldrums(talk) 15:19, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
