- Before I start a review, can I ask for a title which uses an active voice as per WN:NC. As the number killed is essential to the focal event, can we find a second source which confirms the number? If no two sources agree on an exact number, a range or the phrase "at least" can be used (people could still be succumbing in hospital due to injuries). Better to start the lede with when, rather than "during the invasion", especially as this is a counterattack. - @BigKrow: Belgorod is in Russia. Sources[1][2] identify it as Russian. The map showing it as Ukrainian is disputed on Commons, as noted by SVTCobra. So it's probably best not to use that image. Thriftycat (talk) 00:00, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
- No. Only for two weeks was it under something similar to Ukraine. But that was in 1918/19 during the turmoil of the end of World War I and the Russian Revolution. Ukraine does not claim the city or oblast of Begorod. SVTCobra 00:05, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
