Will most likely be changed. HushPuppie280 (talk) 20:30, 22 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Indeed. SVTCobra 20:41, 22 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
sorry... HushPuppie280 (talk) 23:33, 22 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Competing article

[edit]

Please see OceanGate's lost Titanic submarine remains found with passengers likely dead. Let's try to consolidate. SVTCobra 04:17, 23 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sounds fine! HushPuppie280 (talk) 17:28, 23 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
merge both? HushPuppie280 (talk) 17:32, 23 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
What if this article is merged into the competing one with it getting a new section called "public response" or something, since that aspect is not highlighted? Ulysses Grant Official (talk) 19:18, 23 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
I think a merge would work? HushPuppie280 (talk) 09:27, 24 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Ixfd64, I've sent the other one — which was up for review, not under, BTW — back to developing with {{merge}} because you've updated this one. I can take a look at this tonight if it's resubmitted by then. Heavy Water (talk) 21:05, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Heavy Water: Sure, I'll see what can be merged from the earlier article. --Ixfd64 (talk) 22:17, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Also, do we really need all these sources? Per WN:CS. Heavy Water (talk) 00:38, 29 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Heavy Water: I removed the source "Coast Guard convenes a Marine Board of Investigation for Titan Submersible" as the other USCG article already mentions the 1-hour, 45-minute figure. --Ixfd64 (talk) 01:20, 29 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Review of revision 4734353 [Not ready]

[edit]

@Heavy Water: I've added a second source, as well as updated the article to reflect the reports of human remains being found. --Ixfd64 (talk) 04:20, 29 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Ixfd64: OK, now the sourcing is fine, but presently the focal event is divided between two events — the completion of debris recovery/its deposition on shore and the Coast Guard's announcement of the presence of "presumed human remains" in the debris (this also misrepresents the two events as happening simultaneously, when in reality the latter was several hours later). I would suggest just making the "presumed human remains" statement the focal event, which should be easy enough. Heavy Water (talk) 22:48, 29 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Heavy Water: I updated the article and the title. --Ixfd64 (talk) 00:36, 1 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
