OR[edit]

I interviewed the firefighter on scene as the investigation was ongoing. The quotes are exclusive. DragonFire1024 20:55, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bien fait! But surely we can get some other sources...?--DCo1 03:40, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Original stories arn't required to have sources. —FellowWikiNews (W) 03:45, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There is one source from the Buffalo News: [1] but they did not have an extensive article and did not have any quotes from the fire official. DOn't know why, she was standing next to me with a few other reporters. The local stations here almost never keep a story up on their site for more then 12 hours in most cases. They want you to pay for them after a period. DragonFire1024 18:06, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edit[edit]

{{editprotected}} "According to Buffalo Fire Chief, Don Mcfeely,": This should either be "the Buffalo Fire Chief" or have the commas removed. Heavy Water (talk) 16:18, 23 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Lots of mistakes in this 2006 article (including that his name appears to be McFeely). But should we edit these protected pages, or keep them in situ for posterity? JJLiu112 (talk) 18:09, 23 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It is standard and considered consistent with WN:ARCHIVE to fix grammatical and spelling mistakes, {{wikify}}ing, fixing links, etc., but not serious copyediting or major factual errors, the last of which would be addressed with a correction (or a retraction if especially grave). Heavy Water (talk) 18:13, 23 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Done including the name. SVTCobra 01:47, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
