Background info

[edit]

Here's a complete list of everything in the background section I haven't yet marked off as verified (including every last t-cross and i-dot). Most of it is depth/miscellany, but the last item is completely missing from the stuff I've looked at. I'd a much bigger shortfall before hypothesizing that the blog external link should really be listed as a Source (for its background section); if that had closed the gap completely (or to a tiny crack), I'd have just moved it to Sources, but the gap is still significant...

  • Richardson's age (keep thinking it's got to be mentioned in one of these, but haven't spotted it).
  • Subject of books ("covering third parties and presidential elections", "chronicles [McCarthy's] 1976 presidential campaign" (seems likely from title...)).
  • Volunteered for '76 campaign. (Like age, haven't spotted it.)
  • Years of the campaigns he managed and was senior adviser for (blog background doesn't give the years).
  • The whole sentence about Lieutenant Governor of Florida is completely AWOL; I never saw a trace of it (e.g., no Khavari).

I forgot to add the Third Party and Independent Daily source, which covers the second, third, and last points as well as the fact that he managed the 1988 campaign of McCarthy. The Our Campaigns source covers his age. I'm still looking for the info on the 1992 campaign.--William S. Saturn (talk) 17:25, 25 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
I decided to just remove the 1992 info and added that he advised Brian Moore's campaign in 2008 as referenced in the Third Party and Independent Daily source.--William S. Saturn (talk) 17:57, 25 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
