Journalist notes[edit]

This interview was conducted the 25th of February in La Molina. There are some fun translating issues. The questions in English were sometimes re-ordered so they would make more sense in Spanish. On occasion, answers would be provided before the question was fully asked. (And this did not always match the question.) In translating the text, efforts were made to more closely match the Spanish side than the English side given the interview subject's native language.--LauraHale (talk) 23:07, 25 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

An interview with Irene Villa done on February 25, 2013 in La Molina Spain conducted during the 2013 IPC Alpine World Championships.

The lead is built on Irene Villa, the English Wikipedia article I was a major contributor to and creator of. Much of what is referenced in the lead is repeated in the article. --LauraHale (talk) 23:15, 25 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Do we want to keep the audio on this page, or also in the article too? --Gryllida 06:39, 26 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

On the article is nice. It is just here for the connivence of the reviewer. Most of these interviews have the audio on the article. --LauraHale (talk) 06:48, 26 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewer's notes[edit]

  • In the first answer, I'm not sure what the reference to Germans is about. The English translation provided for that reference isn't clear to me. --Pi zero (talk) 04:29, 26 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • The date of the interview is confusing to me. Notes consistently say the 25th, but the article was dated the 25th and said "yesterday". I'm guessing the "yesterday" in the article was based on when it was expected to be published. When writing a "yesterday" or "today" that might change due to publication date, one might leave an html comment identifying the day of the week. --Pi zero (talk) 05:45, 26 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Submited after midnight on the 25th. Interview took place at 6:30pm on the 25th local time but submitted at 12:40am on the 26th.
Yeah, there are some bits where things do not make sense. I do not understand the German reference either. I think it is because she competed in the European Cup, which had events that took place in Germany. Hence international. --LauraHale (talk) 06:10, 26 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Re German reference: She's competed against the German competitors who are currently at La Molina, the ones that win all the medals. As in, she's competed internationally, yeah. Raystorm (talk) 10:53, 26 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
