Is there any current event in the article, or is it just saying what will happen in three weeks? (Also, OR notes are needed) Anonymous101talk 08:08, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
- Both. Lead up matches (NZ v Maffra, Danish grand final, PNG match in coolongatta etc) will be included --RockerballAustralia (talk) 22:53, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
Original Research
[edit]My research is primarily from the New Zealand AFL, the AFL, and World Footy News websites. Some email interviews are planned. This article dosn't have to be published for a week or two. --RockerballAustralia (talk) 09:14, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
Preview?

Unsourced information
[edit]This article contains a lot of unsourced information. --SVTCobra 18:18, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
There are also other problems, such as "International Cup champions are considered a distant second to Australia." What does that even mean?
And it is very confusing to read with all the jumping back and forth between country and team names. --SVTCobra 18:27, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Fix team names Done, Clarify "distant second to Australia" Done
- Is there a source for the full brackets and all participants? --SVTCobra 00:47, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yes. Soure has been added --RockerballAustralia (talk) 04:40, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
- I still don't understand how "International Cup champions are considered a distant second to Australia." How can a football team be second to a country? Are they second to Australian champions? Or are the second to any Australian team? It is very confusing. --SVTCobra 00:49, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
- I've changed the wording in that sentence to clear that up. Hopefully it is better understood now. --RockerballAustralia (talk) 04:40, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
Not publishable
[edit]I think that this article cannot be published as the newest source is over a month old, so it cannot be focusing on a current event. Anonymous101talk 09:50, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
- Just checked the sources, and the newsest source is from two days ago. I've just put an old one first. --RockerballAustralia (talk) 10:01, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
- oops, sorry. Anonymous101talk 10:10, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
- Mistakes happen. was that the only thing stopping this article being published?--RockerballAustralia (talk) 10:17, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
