[edit]A history of this user (me) at Wikipedia
[edit]so you know... Amgine Administratorship
- Hi again. It looks like Amgine is up for de-administratorship on Wikinews here: [1] (Anyone can vote.) Take it easy, buddy, The Champion 01:53, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
- Comment: Not everyone can vote. You must be a registered user, or at least a contributor, to vote in a community poll. Please abstain from voting on projects on which you have not contributed to. --Mrmiscellanious 04:03, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
It looks like MrMiscellanious [sic] is lying about that [2]. It turns out that you are allowed to vote. Primetime 21:04, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
- Oh, yes. You can certainly vote, but it'll never be counted. Plus, don't you think it's kind of trollish? I mean, don't you have a life other than to attempt to destroy someone's online reputation on other wikis because you don't like him? There's a rhetorical question. --Mrmiscellanious 16:17, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
No thanks, Mrmisc, I don't do crack. Grye
Vandalism
As you are a member of Wikipedia, and should know the foundation-wide policies are similar, you are now blocked for six months on Wikinews for your actions on manipulating other user's signed quotes on a community-consensus poll. --Mrmiscellanious 20:05, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
This is from my block page, which I did NOT do.: The reason given is this: Impersonating another user on community-consensus poll. This is a static IP.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to dispute this. The IRC channel sent to is down, & I've spent over an hour that I don't have right now trying to get around that.
- Hey Grye, Did my e-mail get through? One way to dispute it would be visiting the user pages of the Wikinews administrators listed here. Then, in the toolbox listed below the search box on the left side of the screen it should have an E-mail this user option on each page. Even though you're banned, you can still create an account, enter in an e-mail address in your preferences, and then e-mail them. Primetime 22:37, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
I don't think I can create an account [from here], I think he blocked my IP.
& I can't use the IRC, it's down.
Re: Block on Wikinews
You striked-out my text, which is impersonating me as it was a signed quote. You have been blocked because of it. Plain and simple. If you want to screw with your own comments, go ahead - but if you screw with anyone else's, I will hunt you down. It was intentional, and I do not plan to make any more contact with you, as you are undoubtedly a troll. If you didn't hold your head up so high, maybe you'd actually realize there are people, abiding by rules keeping the community in peace, right underneath that big chin of yours. --Mrmiscellanious 16:19, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
No thanks, Mr Misc, I told you before, I don't want any crack. Grye 20:54, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
Your block
I'm Looking into it. Whats your IP. by the way IRC server moved to irc://chat.freenode.net/wikinews . Bawolff 20:22, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
- Is this you? [3] Whats your IP? Bawolff 20:29, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
- 68.196.103.58 is Grye's I.P. Thanx.
- Yes, that was me. I did not see that I had crossed out his stuff, thought it was the rest of mine, obviously I was wrong. By the time Inoticed it, I could not correct. & Mrsmisc didn't confront me at all about it before nixing me. Grye 21:33, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
Uhm if your IP is 68.196.103.58 then that is Not you. Questionable edits you made:
- [4] Crosses out MrM's comment and moved quite a few things around. was the crossing out an accident?
- Some other problems with editing comments after the fact (generally considered a bit rude)
- Why are you claiming and edit made by someone else is you? (Maybe you misread the diff because the dit befor that was you, which I could understand)
P.S. Sorry I took so long to get baack to you, my time on wikipedia is limited. By the way, you can now edit your talk page on wikinews (nothing else) - user:68.196.103.58. Bawolff 23:39, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
- Removing the <-OL-> was accidental
- Striking out Mrmisc's paragraph, that was not intentional.
- No, that was not me, with IP 18.78.2.196 I just saw my IP on that page & thought it was me.
- the edit after posting, That's something I should really watch, I sometimes edit to be less edged, but I should just be more succinct & polite in the first place.
No worries about timing, thanks for looking at this anyway. Grye 13:29, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
- Sorry, i always forget to go to wikipedia. I put a notice on WN:ALERT and will see what other admins think about this. no promises. I'm really sorry about how long this took. Bawolff 07:26, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
- Looks like you've been unblocked already. Sorry about how long it took me to get to you. Bawolff 07:39, 27 December 2005 (UTC)

No worries, I did out-of-the-blue find you & put this on you in the 1st place, so thanks for looking at it, & working on it. Grye
Further on the issue
[edit]I had been blocked for 6 months by Mrmisc
Then I was unblocked ...
Your block has been reinstated by Mrmisc
Apparently Bawolff did not take into account your meatpuppet attempt. You and Primetime both acted in a malicious way to strike out my comments, and forge Cartman02au's vote. Your block will stand at six months. If another admin unblocks this user, I am asking that you contact me before hand. --MrMiscellanious – Happy Hanukkah – 17:11, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
- I did no puppeteering whatsoever. & If you want to talk about being malicious, lets talk, here & now, because you're no saint. Grye 22:40, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Unblocked by Amgine
I have unblocked you after reviewing the Wikinews:Blocking policy and determining there is no basis in that policy for a 6 month block. You have shown you are aware that editing another's comments is inappropriate, is a blocking offense, and have said it was done accidentally or in ignorance at the time. You have been blocked twice for this issue, and I am confident this was not something you plan to do again in the future. - Amgine | talk en.WN 22:17, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
- Thank you, Amgine, for paying attention & acting, & despite our differences. Grye 22:42, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Re-blocked by Mrmisc
Looks like I'm re-blocked, again. I can't edit even my article page, to move the reference "(I am also) user:68.196.103.58, although this IP will be used little if at all after 3rd/Feb/2006." from here to there. Grye 23:03, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
