Add topicUser page indefinite semi-protection request
[edit]{{makeprotected}} New users are repeating vandalism and recreation of my user page. I already have a global user page at meta so others may never need to make edits at here. MathXplore (talk) 04:55, 15 December 2022 (UTC)

Nigeria article
[edit]Hi @MathXplore, thanks for your interest in editing my article. But while you were changing the name of the topic, I was adding a major source, which halted somehow, and I can't recover those back. Please do tag me when you are involved in editing. M:DRC (talk) 16:55, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry, I must be really careful with that. MathXplore (talk) 16:57, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
López Obrador announces that he will reinforce the southern border of Mexico after the end of Title 42 in the US.
[edit]Hello, could you spell check my article on the expulsion of illegal immigrants from the United States?--Jusaset (talk) 14:56, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
- At least the period in title was not needed. I'm not a reviewer so even I checked the page, it has no effect to the article. Please be patient just like Heavy Water has told you at your talk page. MathXplore (talk) 15:01, 13 May 2023 (UTC)

[edit]hello, could you help me to style the news article of, and how true is it that you cannot get to use Google translate in wikimedia projects, I feel that the reviewer user, instead of supporting the work, places many obstacles for me, to Knowing that I do not speak English, I am Hispanic14 May 2023 (UTC)
- copyright to use Google translate is false, the company does not You have said none of that, the fact that a user said it does not make it credible, also that user was blocked from Google translate .--Jusaset (talk) 06:59, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
- Usage of machine translation is unacceptable at almost all Wikimedia projects. English Wikinews assumes the ability of fluent English. Please come back here after you study more English. The reviewer is not placing obstacles but clarifying the problems that need to be cleared. This is a procedure that every editor will experience. If you really want to keep the article, please work harder without machine translations. That is all I can say. MathXplore (talk) 07:02, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
- Look, I don't want to be rude, I'm a Spanish-speaker from Mexico, I don't usually edit wikinews in English a lot, but seeing what the Anglo-Saxon neighbors didn't want or didn't have the interest to create, and publicize this issue that is giving people talk in around 50 countries, I took the time to create it, perhaps not for the Americans but for the Latino community in the US, which is a majority, but you know my official language is Spanish, and from you asking me to be fluent in English seems senseless because I I don't know how to speak English, I'm sure I won't create any more articles in this wikinews in English, I'm trying and I'm trying to bring the best information to Wikinews but I see many obstacles from you anyway I'm asking for help in the wikimedia group because I can't get it here. --Jusaset (talk) 07:10, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
- If you don't know how to speak English, please start learning it and them come back to here. I'm not a reviewer, but I think that's the first step to write better articles at here. I'm not sure what kind of "help" can satisfy your desire but I'm just a visitor helping the project countering spam and vandalism, so the things you need may not be given from my side. For further assistance, I suggest you to continue communicating with the admins/reviewers that you already met at Talk:López Obrador announces that he will reinforce the southern border of Mexico after the end of Title 42 in the US. MathXplore (talk) 07:21, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
- If you are a visitor, I don't have much experience, but as I tell you, I am following each indication step by step, for example, the reviewer asked me to remove the New York Times source, I did it, he also asked me to update it as well. I did, but my biggest obstacle knowing how to wikify it, that's an impediment because I thought I was doing well using help tools for those of us who didn't have a bilingual or trilingual education because we're not lucky in that, what I'm trying to say is that I'm still going by step each indication if you as a native of English could help me it would be very useful I would appreciate it friend. --Jusaset (talk) 07:27, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
- I thought enough has been provided at Talk:López Obrador announces that he will reinforce the southern border of Mexico after the end of Title 42 in the US. If you need anything else, I suggest you to continue communicating with the admins/reviewers that you already met before. Even I can help the English, I have no idea to overcome "out-of-date" issues. This is an article issue that might be resolved by an experienced article creator, who is not me but the admins/reviewers. MathXplore (talk) 07:36, 14 May 2023 (UTC)

- At English Wikinews, only local admins can handle deletion. All I can do is to alert the existence of copyvio incidents. Thank you for monitoring the recent changes. MathXplore (talk) 03:32, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
