Article

Hi, tell me where there is copyvio and I will change it. Remember, there are quotes of people, which is not copyvio. First World War (talk) 10:04, 1 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Looks like you found the talk page. --ShakataGaNai ^_^ 20:31, 1 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Quick deletion request

Could you take a look at Category:Speedy deletion please?-- † CM16 t c 06:50, 2 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Done. --ShakataGaNai ^_^ 07:28, 2 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I saw you tried to check the sources for the article above. I think they got smooshed due to edit conflict, and now they are double checked and hopefully the links I pop up with which work, will also work for you. Quite the loss, fine lady. Kind Regards SriMesh | talk 02:04, 8 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I see you put the develop tag back on the above article because of the clean up tag. I tried to re-write the article, do I leave the tag, there, reply to the original tag editor, or remove the tag myself? I did change develop back to review, as I don't think the original tag editor was around and about since the last re-write, as there is no date thingie to go by, and no listing on the talk page of a discussion to know the progress or lack or progress..SriMesh | talk 03:38, 8 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you think that the concerns listed on the {{cleanup}} tag have been addressed, you can remove the cleanup tag yourself and replace it with the review tag (no need to ask for permission or anything like that). Best regards, Tempo di Valse ♪ 03:43, 8 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
What Tempo said. Just remove it yourself. --ShakataGaNai ^_^ 19:39, 8 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

My first article

Hey, my name's Hunter. I contribute at Wikipedia frequently, but I've never tried Wikinews before. I just tried my first article, Pennsylvania cop on trial for allegedly murdering girlfriend's estranged wife. I see that you contribute here pretty often, so I was hoping you could take a look and see if I've done this right and give me any pointers. I wasn't sure if it should go up to review or development, so I left it in development just in case. I asked a few other users for help as well. Please let me know. Thanks very much! --Hunter Kahn (talk) 03:43, 10 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Well by the time I got to see it, the article was already published. As for tips, read the style guide. Basically make sure you have at least 3 paragraphs, at least 2 sources (or as many as necessary to backup what you write - but don't go overboard and link every related article), and make sure it is current. When the article is ready to go, put it into {{review}} and wait. We're a little back logged in reviews right now because it seems that half the regulars are sick for one reason or another. good luck. --ShakataGaNai ^_^ 22:47, 10 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

User:Tempodivalse/Writing contest

Hi! I'm sending out this message to all our active contributors. Just wanted to let you know that there's an article writing/reviewing contest that's in progress, if you're interested and want to join, drop a line at the above link. Thanks. Tempo di Valse ♪ 23:18, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Book title story

I've made some changes to the source date style and paragraphs, and made other minor changes, so I was hoping you could check it out and see if I've addressed your problems. If it's still not ready, I'd appreciate some more specific feedback. For example, I really don't understand why it's failed "verifiability"...? — Hunter Kahn (contribs) 06:20, 27 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Re:Earth Hour

Oh, okay. I was just eager to get that thing down because I think it is an eyesore. But I guess I can put up with it for a few more hours. Tempo di Valse ♪ 03:18, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I know. It's not exactly complaint with our standard design (which normally I strive for). But for what it is, it required black. I could have matched the entire page... but that would have been a serious undertaking with all our divs and templates and master css sheets. --ShakataGaNai ^_^ 03:20, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
