eligibility for fair use
I am talking to an image author but they want a license that allows no derivs and no commercial reuse. As I understand, there is no license like that that commons accepts. Does wikinews allow to upload files with any licensing like that? I see Wikinews:Fair use which allows images of logos and publicity shots, etc, which images out of the three at User:Gryllida/dnt fall into this caregory? (I had made the mistake of uploading them before sorting out the license choice with the author, so the images are there, but pending permission...) Thanks. --Gryllida 22:36, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
- Possibly relevant: If you look at the images on paralympic articles from this summer, you'll find many of them are on Wikinews under a non-commercial license. Fair use is not the only way an image can be uploaded to Wikinews. --Pi zero (talk) 23:20, 26 December 2012 (UTC)

I uploaded
Do we have a tickets system (like meta:OTRS) where I can forward the mail, so that I am not oblidged to store the messages forever (I often have to delete things when my mailbox is full)? Commons is equipped with special templates like commons:Template:OTRS pending and commons:Template:OTRS received for such purpose, but Wikinews is not. As such things usually are for OR anyway, I could just forward the mail to scoop, maybe? Thanks. Gryllida 11:05, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
