Who.........

......has the power to remove Admin rights? We have a couple of people listed over at RfP. I am Accredited, Reviewer and Administrator but have never removed any bits before.--Bddpaux (talk) 16:05, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Bddpaux: Gry is a 'crat and she can. Though I think we ought to have more crats. Mind if I nominate you (and GG and RbAus)?

@Acagastya: Sure, go for it!--Bddpaux (talk) 15:25, 16 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Serious cleanup needed

Here: Wikinews:Credential verification Our email addresses are not correct (still showing old place). We also have some people listed as ARs who haven't been around here in AGES.--Bddpaux (talk) 15:54, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You need to manually update it, @Bddpaux:. It does not update automatically, nor it should.

Can you give me a few tips? Parts appear to need a 'Sysop' to make things happen. You are MUCH SMARTER with the coding stuff than I am! :) --Bddpaux (talk) 16:04, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What the heck......

....is the actual definition of an Autoconfirmed User?--Bddpaux (talk) 15:30, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Just someone whose account was X days old and made Y edits in that time.

@Bddpaux: There’s a sort of definition at WN:Autoconfirmed users. I’m not sure if WN has it but some other wikis use a requirement of four days and five or ten good edits before the account becomes autoconfirmed. --Green Giant (talk) 17:06, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

'Crat action

I've contacted 4 Stewards over at Meta. What does a person have to do to get a 'Crat to walk in the door around here and take some action? We are hurting for some 'Crat-related actions on this project. --Bddpaux (talk) 00:07, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Bddpaux: More than likely they will hesitate to act because there is a locally-elected bureaucrat. They can only really act if no bureaucrat had been active for a long time. Hopefully if we can get another dozen or so votes on the bureaucrat requests, we will have some active bureaucrats. --Green Giant (talk) 01:14, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I hope so, and I respect the 'don't go messing in other people's gardens' concept, but they could at least give me some type of response. Wait or No or Soon or......something.--Bddpaux (talk) 02:18, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
