Original reporting of court cases

I was consdering covering some court cases by physically attending the hearing and taking notes. I have had a look at the OR page but was a little confused: (1) Are OR notes alone sufficient for an article to be published or is it necessary to get an interview or make contact with primary sources? I likely wouldn't have any sources other than my notes since contacting trial participants may be difficult or impossible due to contempt of court, lawyer-client confidentiality, etc. (2) Is there anything in particular I should take notes on if I am covering a court case? "[E]very article must have multiple sources contacted behind-the-scenes." Wikinews:Original_reporting#Talking_to_sources
Make note of who you contact and when. If they don't respond, note that as well.
If they respond, the onus is on you to fact-check their response. Also remember to introduce yourself as an independent journalist not representing Wikinews.

Category to populate

As I have done previously, I created Category:Stevie Wonder and am asking an admin to help me populate it:

Additionally, in the last article, "PINK FLOYD" is shouted at us. I know we're hesitant to edit old articles that have been reviewed and published, but can this be changed to "Pink Floyd"?

Thanks.

Additionally, do admins here think it's worth my and the community's time to go thru the process of asking to be an admin? I ask because I don't like introducing this overhead to admins when I make a new category, but I am also not as active a user here as the existing admins tend to be. As you can see from my edits, I am involved in fighting spam and vandalism as I see it and I have been a productive member of the community for several years, even if I dip in and out at times. I'm open to any thoughts about if it's worth the effort to apply. —Justin (koavf)TCM 12:48, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
