The Twitter user @BellandaInParis direct messaged me saying "Please note, usage rights are only for the wikinews snow article we talked about today. ;)" for all images that she has posted to twitter except the one of her children which has now been removed. --Computron (talk) 07:13, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

For [[File:Snow in Europe 17.jpg]] use I received a direct message stating that the photo was taking in the vicinity of central Belgium near the main branch of Deutsche bank and near the Mercedes dealer. --Computron (talk) 16:59, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

- My understanding is that the images were already available on the Internet before the article writing. I removed the original reporting tag; to qualify for OR, an article has to constitute original content. Please correct me if my understanding is wrong. --Gryllida?? 01:36, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
- The article is original reporting as tweets and conversations were held regarding the snow on live chat Wikipedia France and all scripts were sent to Scoop. Am I misjudging what original reporting is? --Computron (talk) 17:12, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
- I see the exchange with Maria Fanucchi on Scoop. --Pi zero (talk) 05:39, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
- I assume it was via e-mail or in an otherwise exclusive way? Could you please look into tagging the article with the OR tag if that's the case? Gryllida✎✍ 06:39, 25 March 2013 (UTC)

- A news article is a snapshot in time, and focuses on a current event. This article was written late on the 13th and published early on the 14th (UTC), and, reasonably for that timeframe, focuses on NW Europe. The things you're describing were after publication. They could be the focus of a separate article, if written quickly enough while the new focus is still fresh. --Pi zero (talk) 11:22, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
