[edit]@DragonFire1024: Hi Jason. Welcome back. I know you are still working on the article, but I thought I'd drop a comment. Are you doing OR in describing the photos? I have seen them also. There is nothing (to me) that gives them scale, so wouldn't the size be more likely to be that which witnesses described (in the earlier articles)? Also, while I am no expert, the fact that it is fiberglass and the letters "IC" (and it looks like the preceding letter could be F) detract from the likelihood that it is MH370. There are numerous very active websites for aviation fanatics. Have you consulted any of them? They must surely be talking about it. Cheers, --SVTCobra 17:07, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hello SVT. I have not posted on any aviation forums as I don't know of any off hand. That area is out of my area of knowledge. I don't know any sites. I haven't been doing any OR in regards to describing the photos. DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 17:32, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Also, for the sake of NPOV you should offer that experts are saying that it can't possibly be MH370 and that it is likely a barge. Here's one News.com.au. Furthermore, you are going to need a better justification for fair use of the images. The copyright police are very strict with regards to WN:FU Cheers. --SVTCobra 17:46, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Already have. The debris washed ashore the other islands was likely from a barge, and has been mentioned in this article and the last one. With that said, the debris found on this island are likely not related to the debris found on 3 other islands. As it states in this article: "Debris has since washed ashore on at least three other Maldives islands, but most of it isn't believed to be from an aircraft. Abdulla Rasheed, a captain of a cargo boat which recently capsized in the waters off the Maldives stated, "From the pictures of the debris found on most of the islands, I can almost certainly say that they are from the cargo we were carrying." Despite this possibility, any debris located is being gathered up until Malaysian authorities can examine it." DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 17:55, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
