Review of revision 4425796 [Passed][edit]

Hello, and thank you for the review, Pi zero.
  • I agree about the 'nearly a quarter' is an overstatement and it needs to be removed (I wanted to, but could not find it, as I thought that was not in the first paragraph).
  • I think [1] was my unsuccessful attempt at reading the DPI source which says "The worst case forward scenario is for limited rainfall to occur over New South Wales in the coming three months. Guidance from the latest Australian climate models suggest this is the more likely outcome, [...]". (emphasis added)
A few questions:
  • This change looks interesting. I've not seen the word 'depressed' used in this way.
  • Re "one passage direct-quoted from a source (which is forbidden)." (quote from your review comment), I guess it refers to this, or to something else? Just checking to make sure I don't miss the point the next time.

Yes, that was the direct-quoted passage I was referring to. --Pi zero (talk) 11:25, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
1. A direct quote would still not be publishable even if I wrote
"BBC said, "Some have spent up to A$10,000 per truckload of hay just to feed their animals, according to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull."".
...is this correct?
2. A direct quote from a person (i.e. "According to BBC, Malcolm Turnbull said, "Hello world".") would be OK. Is this correct?
3. The problem of me mis-attributing the quote to the PM is a separate issue. Is this correct? Just checking.
(These three questions are not urgent; any reviewing or similar urgent work may be done first, without any harm to this conversation.) --Gryllida (talk) 11:50, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, all these are correct. --Pi zero (talk) 12:54, 11 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ta.
I think I was partially aware of point number three at the time of writing, but not of point number one.
Thanks again for raising the point and for following up.
