why did you delete
Why did you delete my Canadians bad samaritans news article?Kokopoko 05:25, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
Waitangi Day article
I'll try to find time to work on the article tomorrow, but I have a busy day planned and I'm afraid I can't promise anything. -- Avenue 08:34, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, I did have a good day. I hope you did too. -- Avenue 08:40, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
Thank you Brian for the warm welcome. --188.8.131.52I5 05:28, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
you're having problems transcluding New Zealand/February 2006/Week 7 . Can I help in any way? Bawolff ☺☻ 05:47, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
Have I been in edit wars?
BTW, how is it that I've been knocked off the IRC server and my password not accepted? StrangerInParadise 06:43, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- I seem to be having weird timeout issues, after which there is some wrestling with NickServ to get my login in back. I am seeing now that it just happens. StrangerInParadise 08:12, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- It looks like NickServ Ghost is likely the answer to my problems. So, why did you invite me not to edit war (other than that it is a good idea generally)?
I'm not breaking the archives. Commons broke the archives. Go bitch to them. Amgine told me to remove them. Me and brianmc are currently removing the images. --TUFKAAP 18:32, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry. I didn't mean to come off so rude, I just wanted to delete the images and move on and not spare the edit summaeries... --TUFKAAP 21:48, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
Quite a few users have misused them on numerous talk pages, but the most profound would have to be that of the (most recent) talk page of the Abu Ghraib article. --MrMiscellanious (talk) – 00:00, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
Re your opposition to my 3RR proposal...
...a rhetorical question: if admins adopted a policy of "when in doubt, don't" towards giving a 3RR block, how would the problems anticipated by cspurrier and brianmc come about? Much of the opposition assumes that the current zero-tolerance, shoot-from-the-hip, ip blocks are themselves in policy, which they are not. The change would make bad blocks less likely. Please reconsider. StrangerInParadise 08:10, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for unblocking him. Consider that what he did in obvious jest, MrM has done repeatedly, deliberately and menacingly: misrepresent and misuse his authority to revert and block others. StrangerInParadise 10:53, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
Thank you Brian New Zealand. I was still blocked until now of some reason but I guess you can talk to Cspurrier about that. :) International 13:47, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
