Portal:Papua New Guinea[edit]

Could you set up a Portal:Papua New Guinea here for the Wikipedia PNG portal to link to, similar to the Portal:Oceania. I had thought the setting up of country portals here was an automatic process. Thanks.-Gadfium 05:30, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've been banned[edit]

Texas court injunction[edit]

Why only delete the talk page regarding a case that a judge has apparently injunctioned, and not the article itself as well? Is there a reason for redirecting rather than deleting and making available only to admins? Rickyrab 21:20, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Rickyrab 21:26, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Image[edit]

The Fair Use doctrine of the United States allows for copyrighted images to be displayed, however it does not give clause to the cases of them being modified (to remove copyright notices, etc.). Therefore, we can't legally use them on our site. --MrMiscellanious (talk) – 06:00, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Archiving of WN:DR[edit]

I am not sure what to do with deletion requests on WN:DR once they have been deleted. Do we just delete them out off the page or do we have to move them to another "archive" page? - Cartman02au (Talk)(AU Portal) 20:48, 26 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your Ricin Intervention[edit]

Hi, I wanted to wait until the emotions subsided before asking you about your intervention in the article; "I will block all users who have edited this article if this does not get sorted out Brian | (Talk) | New Zealand Portal 23:40, 26 February 2006 (UTC)" Please tell me; What exactly did you mean by "sorted out"? What exactly did you expect me to do,if anything, at that point? Were you also going to block editors who only commented on the talk page? Why did you feel you had to make such a threat? In hindsight, do you think it was appropriate to make such a threat?

I do not want to leave the matter unsettled because if you have something to say about the way I handled my edits in that article, I'd like you to be up-front about it with me directly; plus, I certainly don't think we need another admin making block threats on article talk pages...that is really off-limits, imo. Thank you very much for your comprehensive and friendly response. I also have great respect for you as an editor. Neutralizer 21:04, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
