It's dead-easy. Just cut-paste the entire text of the page, and replace all the occurances of "Australia" with "New Zealand". - Borofkin 01:30, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
It's the IP Address 188.8.131.52 here regarding the Alan Carpenter article. In Wikipedia, the Commons, and the Wikicity Wikisimpsons I am known as M Johnson. Thanks for the help, and the reason I published the article so soon was because it was important and I wanted it to be known. Thanks
- P.S-FYI Carpenter is now Premier
- Thank you for pouring me a cup of tea :) And thank you for saying I do great work. You do good work also. Thanks again :) Jason Safoutin 19:29, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
India nuclear story
Hi! I was surfing around looking for an image to go with the Disney bys Pixar story when I saw you fixed a typo of mine on US ambassador links India's civil nuclear initiative to Iran vote. I thought how strange I had previously fixed that typo, then added the day of ambassador press briefing, and that same double S spelling mistake in States posted along with the Wednesday addition I made to the story. Is it only me? or do you have similar experiences? -Edbrown05 06:31, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the trophy!
At the point I stopped listening to the arguments over portals that was the standard practice. I Believe it still is. (In my opinion it looks the nicest as well) Bawolff ☺☻ 02:56, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

You're welcome. And yes, I do live in NZ, a JAFA for what it's worth. -- Avenue 08:52, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
To save you the drudge work of doing another batch of day pages before the end of this month, I've configured Uncle G's 'bot to create each day's page at the same time that it updates Template:New page. Uncle G 02:24, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
- Just curious...I hope this "bot" is not gonig to be taking over all of the updating or whatnot...Afterall the work done here is supposed to be based on users, not a machine/bot. Jason Safoutin 02:29, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
Admin status granted
Congratulations, you have just been made a sysop! You have volunteered for boring housekeeping activities which normal users sadly cannot participate in. Sysops basically can't do anything: They cannot delete pages arbitarily (only obvious junk like "jklasdfl,öasdf JOSH IS GAY"), they cannot protect pages in an edit war they are involved in, they cannot ban users except in cases of obvious vandalism or excessive edit warring (24-hour "cool down" ban). What they can do is delete junk as it appears, ban vandals, remove pages that have been listed on Deletion requests for more than a week, protect pages when asked to by other members, and help keep the few protected pages there are up to date.
Note that almost everything you can do can be undone, so don't be too worried about making mistakes. You will find more information on Wikinews:Administrators, please take a look before experimenting with your new powers. Drop me a message if there are any questions or if you want to stop being a sysop (could it be?). Have fun!--Eloquence 20:27, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
- So does this mean I can Stop badgering all the admins on IRC and WN:ALERT. :D Brian | (Talk) | New Zealand Portal 20:37, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
