Politicians whitewashing Wikipedia again — newsworthy?

Given United States Department of Justice workers among government Wikipedia vandals and Congressional staff actions prompt Wikipedia investigation, are we interested in similar original reporting of the same thing, but this time with the U.K. Parliament doing it? Could be. I note from the discussion the parliament has a proxy. I doubt we'd get the actual office details via a freedom of information request - but that'd be really nice to add to it. It might be a proxy that gives XFF (X-Forwarded-From) information. That would reveal to a checkuser the internal IP that made the edit; forget gettting CU data out past the WMF privacy policy. --Brian McNeil / ^talk 17:34, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
