Archive of deleted articles?

Is there an archive of deleted articles?

For if there is I would like to resurrect one entitled "Northern Tasmanian Junior Football Association" which was deleted somewhere around December of 2013. I have only just discovered that it had been deleted, and believe that I now have sufficient references to fulfil the notability requirements of a wiki article.

I am not in a position to try to recreate the deleted article, nor begin anew as a disability severely limits the time and frequency I can spend at a computer and I can no longer type other than by very unreliable dictation.

Any help would be appreciated. Van Dieman (talk) 06:16, 21 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Van Dieman: "references", "notability", "2013". News has to be new. It can't be published on Wikinews now, after four years. It could be an encyclopedic article, and for that you need to create an article on the sister project: Wikipedia. If you can provide the title of the page, an admin can move the deleted page to your userspace.

@Van Dieman: The wiki database retains deleted pages. There is a deletion log that lists deletions in chronological order by date and time; but, looking at that list forward and back, from sometime in April 2014 to some time in October 2013, there does not appear to be a deletion with "tasman" in its title. We can also look under an exact title, but there are no deleted revisions under the exact title you mention; and we can look for deleted contributions of a user, but there are no deleted edits by your current account. If it's there, we would need more information to find it. --Pi zero (talk) 11:28, 21 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
If it's a Wikipedia article, that would be in the Wikipedia database, and you'll need to consult with a Wikipedia admin. --Pi zero (talk) 11:31, 21 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Acagastya: The references and additional material I have found from various online sources are of this and earlier years, plus some from the three major newspapers of Tasmania. Van Dieman (talk) 12:05, 22 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Pi zero: The article Northern Tasmanian Junior Football Association was marked for deletion, according to my talk page (a place I'd not visited in some years), by The-Pope -- Latest revision as of 16:56, 3 December 2013 Van Dieman (talk) 12:05, 22 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
On a side-note why isn't my signature linking through to my talk page? Even using the address -- User_talk:Van_Dieman|Van Dieman , -- cut from my page and pasted here. I deliberately omitted the opening and closing square brackets, because as an address it was not linking to the correct page. Van Dieman (talk) 12:25, 22 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Van Dieman: The article was deleted from Wikipedia; this is Wikinews, which is a separate project. Each project has its own policies and its own administrators; so we can't help you here with undeleting a page there. Your Wikipedia user page is at w:User talk:Van Dieman; you'll need to discuss your options with a Wikipedian admin. (Hoping things work out well for you! :-) --Pi zero (talk) 12:43, 22 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
